People with dreadlocks should not need to wear hardhats because they can always weave their own. I'm almost positive that a baseball bat could do no damage to that head. Almost.

This is old, but, dreds only provide moderate cushion on the back portion of the head... Also, a hard edge could easily "split the wig" and puncture the head.
